Today Liz and I went for a drive in our Austin Freeway (not the towing one) to Yundi to look at a Clipper that may or may not've been there at a location we didn't know. Armed with the information that it was at a place that used to be a caravan park and is now a horse stud owned by a gentleman named Trevor we managed to find it, luckily Yundi isn't very big! She's an absolute work of art, and we're looking forward to getting her home Pics can be found at DHL under Clipper S.A. if anyone wants to check it out, we didn't take any others today but will take more when we pick it up. The next hurdle will be getting it home. Putting it on a car trailer seems the easiest way to do it, not sure if we'll need a 4WD or if Dad's Commodore will do it? We want to cover it with something so bits don't fall off, thinking a caravan cover from super cheap would probably be ok? Our goal is to have it ready for the VV nationals, but we're not holding our breath! Andrew and Liz

WELL DONE MATE , NOW THE FUN BEGINS ! ONLY ADVISE I CAN GIVE ON GETTING IT HOME , SPEAKING FROM PAST EXPERIENCE , ......... MAKE SURE THE BLOODY ROOF HATCH IS LOCKED DOWN IN POSITION AND THE SCREWS ARE TIGHT ! I LOST ONE ONCE OFF THE TOP OF A V V THAT WAS ON A TILT TRAY A FEW YEARS AGO COMING ALONG A BUSY SYDNEY ROAD . IT FLEW BACK AND HIT A PANTEC TRUCK BEHIND US , NARROWLY MISSING HIS WINDSCREEN AND TAKING OUT THE PLASTIC PANEL BELOW INTO PIECE'S . THE TRUCKIE SAW THE FUNNY SIDE , LUCKY , AND JUST WENT ON HIS WAY . I ALLWAYS THINK WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN ,...... MOTORBIKE , SPORTS CAR .....ETC ..... GOOD LUCK MATE , REGARDS 8-)MAURIE .

Can't wait to get it on the road!
Roof hatch does seem to be the regular thing to fall off! We will be putting a ratchet tie down to keep it where it belongs! One of the front corner windows is broken, and a side one so will probably try to cover the van bringing home anyway.
Then we get to pull off the al. and replace some of the frame. I hate wood!!!!!!!!!! Can't weld the bloody stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a plan Leigh, I'll have to try to get Liz's FB Estate out for that!
