Great photos Firefighter. Thanks for posting them.
That is some trip Rex and his mates took - the kind of landscape most city 4WD's will never see, ironically enough.

Hey F/F
Recognise the car..... I see it has graduated to towing a TD..
That bunch of "Ferals" have some great trips in their delightful machines.
Looks to me like there might be one or two of em missing from the action...

Good pics of an oldie It sure is a Standard Swallow. After the second world war, SS was not a popular name in England, so William Lyons renamed them Jaguar. Firefighter, when you meet up with him again, ask him if he thinks that is his vehicle on the front page of the 48/49 Caravan magazine ? There are not a lot of those cars in AU. Cheers, Ron

Jeez f/f,
seeing those pics brought back some great memories of our Darwin trip with the Vagabond and Sportsman. Makes me want to go again!
In the next couple of years we have trips to outback Queensland, Western Australia and a tour of the south island of New Zealand planned. Its gunna be busy.
cheers, Leigh
