I'm hoping to buy a Bondwood tomorrow - I've been dreaming about owning one of these for years. We've got a FC Holden to (2 toned - pink & grey) - can't wait for them both to meet. Just discovered the blog - will be great to talk retro vans with others.
Thanks Kitschy.

We got her! And what a beautiful van she is.....had been rescued from a farmer's shed, bought at the deceased's estate auction by a chap who knows all about retro vans. He and his wife had restored a van a few years ago, turning it into a coffee shop on wheels. I had admired their van last year at the Bay to Birdwood Classic motor vehicle rally held in the Adelaide Hills - and in fact this is when I first got a yearning for one of my own. Anyway, we met up and it was love at first sight - I had to have her. She is in such great condition, in fact my family and I plan to take her away this weekend. My 2 kids and I have spent the day sprucing her up, and all going well we may make it to Victor Harbour on Saturday, might even see some whales. Keep you posted, Kitschy

Good news Kitschy! Now you need to register yourself on the forum (see the menu towards the top of the forum window) and work out how to post pictures of your van. You will find instructions on how to do that by following Jim's instructions which you can find by clicking here. It might look a bit complicated but it's easy once you get the hang of it. It sounds like your van is a great find and we'll all be interested to see it. Is it one of the South Australian built vans? How old do you think it is? Don Ricardo
