Hi All,
I've had an offer from one of our Queensland members to produce professional quality name tags, with Vintage Van logo, names, etc, for our group, free of charge.
My query is, if the guy went to the outlay of producing them for us, would we use & appreciate them
I think it would be nice to have some matching ID's to put on if we want to , to be identified as a group.
Most of the time the ID's would sit in our vans unused I know, but there are times they would be real useful I feel.
Rather than spin this thread out, please contact me by PM , & if you want them, let me know what names you want on each badge.
We possibly could have them for Tallabudgera if enough response is recieved.

Hi Den............haven't seen name tags work yet...............Mrs Humpty(Denise) made some for Coledale I think.........and as you say, they tend to stay in the back of a drawer in the van....where ours still is.........so we'll give 'em a miss
..................we're currently up at Groote Eylandt, with family , but will be returning home in time to be at Tallabudgera.................
.............the trimming and lino really does finish Lucille off perfectly.......looks great!!!
Cheers , Clyde
.........oops...meant to send this as a pm.......but did it as a reply........too slack to change it!!!!!!!!!

We had name tags complete with the www. logo at NRMA Motorfest a few years back. Really handy when everyone that was there from the van movement already knew each other. The best way to remember anyones name is to socialise with them regularly. The tags where supplied by the Tickos from memory and looked cool . They work if you are dealing with a stack of people at a display day as it helps them ID who owns the vans etc. .... but then again so does a well designed T shirt with the website name on it..... We still have the tags in our van but havent used em since Coledale 2006. Reddo
