Sunshine Coast hot rodder Jim has been on the lookout for a small bondy for a while now........................... ..............ended up finding this great little 10 footer just down the road from where he lives!!!!! ..........the owners bought it in the sixties for their honey moon, when it was 7 or 8 years old ........then built a shed around it where they lived 'till they built their house.... ..............consequently this little van(built in Brissy in 1957), has sat under cover for the last 40 odd years.......continuously registered 'till 1987 or so........... ...it has 12v/240v......override brakes......original annex / poles.....sleeps 3 in a double and small bunk Jim plans to restore it to it's original glory and tow it behind his recently completed 1957 Buick Cabellero Wagon......... ...can't wait to see it finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . Cheers Sutcac Cheers Sutcac

Isn't it funny l was`talking to a man in a joinery and he was saying about someone in our town of Kingaroy had done a similar thing of building a shed around the van. Congrat's on your find it's exciting stuff.
All the best on your project

Another bondwood bordello for the RSPBCA. Top find and gives me hope that we may yet find in a similar situation/story, an old jennison nomad or better yet roadcruiser out there one day !

Lovely van now, Clyde!!! But what is that cupboard (?) with the red asterisk paintwork??? Does it have a use?
Ray (probably making a fool of myself here with my ignorance)
