Surferboy, I suggest you do a ring around, as very few WA members watch the forum these days.
Hillbilly or Gary Cahill have all the phone Nos ......
Hillbilly can be emailed at aeroflight@westnet.com.au

Yes, well said Dennis,
It's a big country eh? For the west and the East to get together and shake hands takes a bit of doing, but via this forum, started and owned by the WA mob, we can communicate and take an interest in what each of us are doing.
When this forum first started I remember saying to Will & Lyn that I couldn't understand why there were very few East Coast Members on it...now we swamp it.
No doubt the Westsiders communicate with each other via e-mail, phone, down at the pub or whatever. Maybe they organized a run this past weekend, if so, I think it's sad that the rest of us are not involved... via the forum.
Cobber.

to Quote: "I suggest you do a ring around, as very few WA members watch the forum these days".
I can sum it up in a word "enthusiasm".
Like any sport or hobby. If you loose interest or enthusiasm you will quickly drop of the game and the team. Dennis....I would seriuosly doubt that anyone from W.A would be that frail or fickle that they would leave the forum because it has become too "popular" or " successfull" and has just enjoyed a highly successfull 12 months. I mean why would anyone desert a ship that is winning the race. We are all Australians for christ sake. doesnt matter a rats which state you are from does it??? On the contrary ... i think it would encourage those that may have become bored or disallusioned to get swept up in the spirit of the forum and the whole vintage van movement...get motivated , be a team player and start back contributing to the forum and enjoying the commaraderie.
Vintage vanning is like any other bad habit... bloody hard to give it up while you are enjoying it. I say: Go you good things Surferboy and Cathy. glad to hear your full of sparks.... even if you have gotta go round and drag em out of bed and stick those fireworks up a few slow starters to launch them off into a good time vintage vanning long weekend orbit.

Surferboy, I have been to Toodyay when petrol cost 68.7 cents a litre ;D Moondyne Joe spent a bit of time in the lock up there after pinching a horse, I still have the Johny Ashcroft record about "Moondyne Joe" (never chuck anything out ) He was born in Cornwall UK...you have to look out for people who come from that part of the world eh? I didn’t get to the National Parks around there, wish I had, but we did camp overnight beside the Avon River Should be a good trip. Cobber.
