I have received an email from Aussie World aka Etamogah Pub on the Sunshine Coast. (where we met on the way to Maroochydore in February) They are already organising Australia day for next year and asked if we would like to put a few vans on display. I have been to Ormiston every Australia day for the past 5 years so wouldn't mind dragging the Munro up the highway for something different. If any of you coastal people are interested let me know so as I can give some advice to Etamogah. Rod G.

We usually do Ormiston or our own local (Buderim) street parade and school oval park up on Aust Day................ ............would rather do that than a commercial enterprize like Aussie World

I think you will find most of us have other regular events that we attend on Australia Day. For instance Southside Hot Rod Club have day run on Australia Day which usually attend.
Cheers, Steve.

I can understand about the traditional events as I have done Ormiston for the past few years and it attracts such a variety of cars and people but every now and then I like to try something different for at least once. I'll see what the full event is about as it gets closer and decide whether to go up the highway or cross the gateway. The Speed on Tweed event in September is my priority at present as I seek to extract some more neddies from the Sunbeam. I'll have the Munro back out for Cunungra and a few other weekends in October/November. Rollydog
