Hi Mark Some great shots there. Good to see there is so many great places to visit when ya hit the road in W.A. Its a big state but you guys keep coming up with some great destinations for the spring tour.. congrates to the organisers.. it isnt easy.. That giant "camp kitchen " ... or undercover camp site is a real bonus when ya dont want to waste valueable drinky time putting an annexe up after a big days drive. Sorry to hear Will and Lyn missed this trip. But it's good too see so many of the other members that where around when the site kicked off making the effort to go on the run. I am sure Will and Lynn will be back on the tiger tail next year.... These sort of "day hopping " trips are the essence of Vintage van touring and its good to see the tradition being upheld. It looks like the east coast effort will be put on hold this year but i am sure it will be back on track next year. Once again thanks for making the effort to shift all your pixs from your camera.. to.. your computer... to ....photobucket.. to.. the forum.. Its a time consuming job ( aye Daggsey) and we all appreciate it. Regards Long time 2%er Reddo

thanks Reddo for your feedback on the WA Spring Tour .....it appears as though the rest of the WA Spring Tourers don't want to share their pics ....... some good shots were taken of the cars & caravans lined up down a rather steep hill coming outta the Collie Caravan Park ....... Anyway, some more pics from Harvey Dickson's Country Music Centre: The House of SpoonsThe entrance to the property is decorated with wrecks: why is it always FB's that grow trees through the engine bay a "horny" vee dub ;D .............. Howdy folks, jus' thought I would "show off" the WA Spring Tour goodie bag we got this year ...... Pat (loveshack) & Jo (lilypad) did an excellent job putting the show bag to gether, and for that, we thank them A 16 page Spring Tour guide detailing routes & destination details of the tour ......I usually follow the leader, but when all the vinvanners pissed off & left me in Gnowangerup (was looking for a pub to restock the esky ;D), I had to use this guide to work out where the 'ell I was to go ...... there being a couple of different ways to the Stirling Ranges, a short route & long route ..... At the back of the lil booklet were some "teasers" and puzzles: to rack the brain: and check out all this pens, pencils, chocolates, peppermints, dog tags , stickers, tourist brochures for the towns we visited, post cards to send to mum ;D, a whistle (in case the car breaks down ;D), a key ring, a notebook, an emergency teabag ......and herbal teabag, ......how goods all this ......the only thing missing was an emergency 6 pack ;D So, to the Eastern Staters, if there's no East Coast Spring Tour next year, may I suggest you join the WA run ......its worth the 12 days travelling the Nullabour to & fro, and $3000 in fuel costs just for our goodie bag alone ;D Mark
