Hi All, Just a couple of pics to share. This weekend passed I was fortunate enough to meet yellowuki and check out his newly restored vvan. Mirboo North hosted a festival on Saturday and Sunday and I was kindly invited by yellowuki to display my van along with his at a display of 60`s and 70`s fashion, memorabilia and technology. (60`s & 70`s TV`s, stereos, amps etc...) Unfortunately I could not make it to the Saturday street parade but spent a great day Sunday basking in the sun and chatting about all things past... I`m sure yellowuki may be able to elaborate on the festival and maybe add some pics. Thanks yellowuki for a great day, I hope you dont mind me adding a couple of pics of your great van. It is a real credit to you, you should be very proud of all your hard work. I hope the next few months fly by for you so that you can get your licence, hook her (him?) up and hit the road... Regards, goingrey

Hi Goingrey & Yellowuki,
You guys are an inspiration, considering your both young farts.
Its great to see people without grey hair or bald patches associating with old vans, & keeping the tradition going. Both vans looked great.
Keep it up

Thanks Goingrey for the photos and, thanks again for coming. I was very pleased and I know that the people who were running the display were also very grateful. By the way, that lady would still like to buy your FC I am also hoping that the next few months will fly by and, all being well, I might be able to travel with you to Mildura to the nats! ;D ;D Goingrey's van at the display, and below outside my place. I bet the neighbors were jealous! This is the EH that pulled my van in the parade (more parade pics to come) And finally, before the parade hooked up to my Holden. It was so cruel, I had the van hooked up, was in the end of the driveway and was only going down the street Great weekend anyway, so I'm sure I'll get over it! Cheers, yellowuki

Great stuff guys Love the coasters and beer/wines/spirits labels on the ceiling .. thought about doing something similar but ... I figured the way i drink the ceiling would be covered by lunch time the first day. Hey Yellowuki.. you arent drinking that "BP zoom" and "Golden Fleece lubricants" are you?? If you are then be prepared for more than your "Uki" to turn Yellow ;D On a serious note. Not sure what the rules are for dispalying rego labels in Vic .. but it is illegal to leave old labels on after the expiry date in Nsw. Might be worth making a few enquires with the knobs at your local registery office mate. Reddo

Hey Reddo, those rego labels are staying no matter what! It's currently unregistered but I am planning to make a canvas blind for the windows when travelling so they won't be visible when on the road. Don't worry, it's all worked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yellowuki

Hey Wuki,
I like your style and looks like you had a goodun.
I was wondering about the "car" number plate on the van, just for show I guess.

You're spot on there Sportsman, I actually put it on there to measure for the D Lamp and decided to leave it on for the time being, seeing as the signwriter has never bothered to come back and do the writing on its rear end! Would look a bit plain otherwise. yelllowuki P.s: Would look all right being pulled by an old Velox don't you think? ?? ;D
