I thoroughly enjoyed the "spring tour" and thank Gary for a great job in organising it. Its a big task to organise such a run and have things run as smoothly as they did. The old cars and vans did everyone proud.

I second that motion Carrots Snail did a great Job on the tour as well as Organising it We even got showbags full of Goodies caps etc met some great people and had an exceptional welcome from all of the great aussie farmers and country folk It took me back to the fifties and sixties the simple life with the kind of reception only country folk can lay on it was totally memorable how is this for a Gigantic welcome And a real Garden Gnome a whole country school the F100and Trevs Tram Hopefully the grand pooh bahs and Ditzys system will recuperate soon as said before they will do a praisie and photos of the entire trip this is an interim fill Will

Ok I am up and running......... no thanks to a particular provider Here are a few shots of the trip taken by a few people. Just to tease you. I will add afew more each night but if anyone wants the full story and album please email us and I will send you the disc. Little pig little pig let me come in!!!!!!!!! acutally this is Snail the chief vintage vanner for the week......... not sure what he did but it was only the first day of the tour in Northam.......... Karen............ let him in. On the road again............. we definintely made a sight and caused a stir..... When ever we pulled into a country town the bush telegraph was on the ball and the towns folk would be out in droves taking photos and asking questions, I rekon we were all celebreties for a week. Snail did an interview on the Country ABC radio so our reputation preceded us. No it is not a drive in but Dallwallinew.......... that night we were treated to a lovely nosh up of foods prepared with the local native vegetation........... mmmmmmm wattle chocolate. This is the Wreath Flower.......... a native of the area............but jarring my brains out over a 10 km corrogated road sort of took the shine off it..... and more of the lovely flora. more tomorrow.............. It was a wonderful week and each of us found something different........... I found the ghost at the Watheroo pub to be a fascinating topic...........

Gidday Reddo and Jailbarjuice on the wildflower run apart from lots of driving eating and light refreshment it was good to see some of the refinements that various parties added to there vintage vans Tucky had a fibreglass cover made to cover a little light generator for emergencies Roger had his little teardrop set up with a dvd and T.V. where we would gather with our front and rear stalls seats to watch dvds of a night time blankets and all but Billy corks was the best of the lot he fitted a battery powered doorbell to his van as well as a no junkmail sticker Useless information but it just shows you even quirky people are welcome in our group would you agree fellas Wildflower Will

Ditzy and I were recently on a caravanning holiday up North, when, in this little town called Ballidu, in the middle of nowhere, this dude rocks up in a 1963 EJ Holden, with a 59/60 Globetrotter caravan in tow ......anyway, he pulls up outside this really delapidated old building thats says "GMH" on top ......what.. ...does this guy REALLY think he's going to get his Holden serviced there Has this guy got some sort of problem .....he's driving a 42 year old car, with a 45 year old caravan .....will somebody please tell him its now 2005 .....and the service station closed in 1953 ;D ;D ;D Then, we realised it is in fact, one of our newcomers ....Chris Dagg (Daggy) from Bridgetown WA ..... .....doing the 2005 Spring Tour. So Ditz and I thought we'd better have a photo taken with him ......and Gemma (forum members Brad & Gemma). Well done Daggy ......your original rig looked great

Hidey Ho there Ditzy type person
Great fodoes of the Vauxalls and vans. You even managed to get my black Frieghter with flames in the shot...... good girl. So tell me are they taken early morning while you are make a dash to the toilet . Or late arvo while you are trying to find your way back to your van after "Happy Hour in the park" Either way they are great shots. There is a real art in getting good pichas. Sometimes the difference can be just that few minutes later in the day when the light changes .
Dunno who the bloke dressed in red is, but he certainly looks more intelligent and better dressed than "The Gnome in the slazenger sloppy joe".
One more thing I am gunna havta send you lot some grass seeds to throw around. That van park looks like a Woolworths car park.
Reddo - from the far greener side.
Go the Balmain ( oooops West ) Tigers in this weekends NRL footy semi finals. Oh and thier playing that other stupid footy code grand final too this weekend ..... GO THE SYDNEY SWANS. WEST COAST SUX !!!! There now. I can go to bed knowing I have destroyed east coast/ west coast relationships .
