Gidday vin vanners everywhere
Nobles Garage (Brian)
Snail Gary and Karen and Myself
We had a fantastic easter at the worlds oldest known mountain Range
which happens to be around 55 ks from albany and 50ks from Mt Barker in the South West of Western Australia
Albany has some of Australias most striking Coast line and has one of the few natural Harbours in Western Australia
The entire Great white fleet anchored in the Harbour in the early 1900s as protection from the weather
on route to a wartime destination
which must have been a fantastic site from the top of Mt Clarence overlooking the natural harbour
Brian and I took a tour around the scenic drives of Albany and took in a Vintage carshow while the adventurous Gary and Karen climbed the porongerups here is a few photos
incredibly good timing ther Karen taking that shot just before it squashed Gary into a replica of a pancake
Albany in the background
the final part of the climb
here is the crew relaxing after an adventurous day out
the camp at porongerup
On the way home I went to a great carshow at waroona
around 30ks from the original run taken by the WA group around 5 years ago at Harvey the spiritual home of vintage vannings conception in Australia
in fact our very next run is to Harvey for our good mate Trevor Roberts who will always be remembered and toasted as one of the original members of the group with Mark and Snail Dave Jim Tucky and myself and our better halves
Pat and Dave arrived home after a year on the road and stayed at Tuckys overnight before heading home
what a great way of having some serious fun and good times
all the best to all of the fun seekers enjoying what this group is all about
restoring and Travelling
best Regards
Will
