Hi all, I am new here, my name is Rod, I have been getting right into this VV stuff, and started with a teardrop and have recently aquired a bondy. The bondy appears to have had some plywood panels replaced some time ago which are now begining to delaminate (top layer of veneer coming adrift). I dont think the 750 klms trip home helped. Any suggessions any-one, or do I have to bite the bullet and replace the sheets to a standard I can be happy with?? Thanks for reading my querie. Rod.

Hi Rod,
The ply van I'm rebuilding had the majority of the surface suffering from heavy weathering, as well as some bad areas.
Where the surface was weathered down one layer of ply only, I simply applied lots of primer /surfacer oil based paint, allowed it to dry over weeks, then sanded & applied more, until it was as smooth as glass.
I totally replaced any areas worse than one layer worn. Whether I'm right only time will tell, but it looks pretty good 12 months down the track.
