Here I was thinking I was being clever grabbing a pic on my travels this weekend and it seems that I was beaten to the punch by Don Ricardo.. HOWEVER, I managed to get photo's without trespassing ;D I was away camping in the Strzlecki ranges over the weekend, not to mention out looking for land.. Driving along, fortunately slowing as we approached a town boundary, and through the bushes something caught my eye. Being realtively uneducated in Vintage Vans, I have no idea what it is, but am certain, I'm about to be told. SO, open to opinion, what does everyone think it is?

Hi M/C It looks like a caravan that doesnt fit in its carport. ;D ( and what a fine carport it is too ) By the look of the terrain it may take some "extracting" . Might be best to flatten it with a backhoe and drag it up onto the road so it'll be easier to rat the good bits off it . Probably just a DON .... common as mud . People are finding them laying around everywhere lately . SLAP, SLAP, SLAP,SLAP, ........bend over.. kick, kick, kick..... Ouch... what was that for Did i say something wrong again ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Reddo

Hi M/C No sarcasm intended. Just me baiting a few people who own , and are restoring what is sometimes inferred as being the Benchmark in plywood vans and dusting off my reputation as a S#i# stirrer. I honestly think the old van would make a good restoration project no matter what the brand is. Always difficult to tell from pictures whether or not the van is ready to fall apart , or is in good condition. Bottom line... Buy the land and inherit the van Reddo

Hi M/C Sure does look like a Don without the leadlight windows - could also be a Carapark Hunter with ali windows. Worth asking the owners if you don't buy the land!! Ray
