A few days ago was taking a back road behind a caravan park in the area and saw what I thought was the back of a Murrumba Star Decided to go and have a gander Instead found this Never seen one before so decided to post this thread Called a Linda Walkabout The owner is a Gunnadoo Has had the thing for ten years And is Gunnadooit soon Started fixing the slide on about.... ten years ago Yeah.... Progressing ...... ............. Slow........ ly Both sides at the front have this embossing on it Would love to have the room and time to bring it back to a useable state But the owner is Gunnadoo it Eventually Cheers Atog

Hey Atog What are you doing wondering around caravan parks when your suppose to be working on your own...? Looking for spare parts?? ;DThere was one advertised on that "E" thing a little while back. Now you know ya can build anything with fibreglass.. bobt

i also found a marumba star (duel axle caravan ) but looks like the slide on pictured above,& in about the same condition, the elderly owner ( with walking stick ) said he was going to do it up, well i guess it will eventually return to the earth & vanish, & be no good to any one , .

The Linda Walkabout (it's written on the door) was built in Sydney maybe 30 years ago According to the current owner It's just a pity it will not survive the lack of care its current owner is giving it
All these types of vans and pop tops are interesting
There are a lot of creative people out there And to think that after 20, 30,40 and more years ....... they are still here ..... The mind boggles
