...I am new to this forum and wondering if any one could give me some ideas about my dear little van (13ft.) a Vaction, built around 45/50s. It is alot like the don in the ebay advert through this site except it has a protruding forehead. is that how you would discribe it? I have taken pictures but trying to learn how to put them on line.
I would appreciate any information about my van as it has been in the family for about 10 years.
Cheers, Mrs Ray

Hi Mrs Ray,
Welcome to the forum. It's great to hear about your van.
You refer to your van as a 'Vaction' caravan, and I wonder if you mean 'vacation'? If you do, there is only one reference to Vacation caravans on the forum that I can find, and unfortunately that doesn't include any photos just a link to an Ebay auction that has long since expired! I've now copied that info to the following thread:
vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/i....hat&thread=3614
As you've suggested some photos may enable someone to identify your van or provide some information about it...and the rest of us are always interested in seeing some pics of somebody else's nice vintage caravan!!
Re posting your photos - you need to do this via an on-line photo hosting website called Photobucket. There is a step by step guide on how to do it at the following location on the forum:
vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/i....lay&thread=1176
If you've followed Jim's instructions on the above thread, and are having trouble sorting it out, feel free to PM (personal message) or email me with your phone number and I'll see if I can talk you through the process. (You can PM me or email me by pressing the little icons immediately below the 'Don' badge in the box to the left hand side of this post.)
Apologies if I am telling you stuff you already know about posting the photos!! However, we'd love to hear more about your van.

I am having trouble locating the photo bucket thread.
I have two fishermen who have offered $1800 for the vacation van . Is this a reasonable price?
It is a special van single beds Cooker has never been used.
Eggshell blue ripple texture sliding doors ,porthole side front window. new annex with wooden door.
Just a gem.
