Hi all I was just wondering if anybody can help I have an Electrolux fridge (which is not the corect one) in my Roadhaven. It is 240 volt / gass only and i have heard it is possible to obtian a conversion to run thes on 12 volt whilst travaling.
Option two would be an invertor but i have no idea what size i would need.
Any help apreciated
Gregor

Hey Gregor,
As much as its a hike for you, go visit the guys at Carac Caravan and trailer supplies, basically at the top of Frankston Dandenong Road. (For you, go up the South Gippy to Dandenong, turn left, then left again onto Franga Dandy Road, up over the "rail hump" and its immediatley on the left as you come down the hump.
They should be able to help. Basically you need to fit a 12v element in the heater box/tube. Alternately, and probably a lot less mucking about, go the inverter. You just need to find out the wattage of the 240v element, then speak to the guys at Jaycar or the like who can size you an inverter quite readily.
Cheers Chris
