Hi Bindilou Kurri festival gets packed out and you would need to have booked months ago if you where looking for accomodation on that particular weekend. Cruz has pm'd me a few times and i think she has found a room to rent in Kurri with an undercover carport for her car. She was originally planning on bringing her van but i am almost certain she has given up on the idea. Nearest caravan park is either Maitland .. 20 mins east or cessnock.. 20 mins west of kurri. I hope to get up there on the saturday for a bit of a look around . Reddo

HI Bindilou, Yes as reddo said no van park in Kurri Kurri. I was looking forward to taking Gidget to the festival, but instead i have found a room in a basic B&B (pm me if you would like details). Check out the festival website for other accom. Hotels /motels booked out. There a company setting a tent village .This may suit you. I thought it was a bit expensive for a tent, but seemed to be all that was about. Cruz

Hi Reddo &cruz,
Sorry we wont be there to join you guys this year.

Hi JBJ This event is getting bigger and bigger each year. I sort of hope it doesnt get as commercialised as Wintersun. The town can handle it in its current format but if it outgrows itself it will become a complete botch. We are lucky to live just 15 mins away and can drop in and out of the place a few times over the weekend.. Perhaps one day i will own one of those big fast 'merikan cars and go cruisin down main street. Reddo
