Hi Guys! I am thinking I might head down on either the Friday night (depending on plans for the night - but loving the sound of the drive in!) OR Saturday and say hi! The Astronaut wont be any where near finished, so just a day trip for me unfortunately Matt

Hi Matt,
Saturday night is at Winterwoods, Sunday night is back home.
If the weather is ok I will most likely head over to the Dromana Drive-in. (Vagabond looks like a goer, motor goes in this weekend.)
I will see what is showing.
See you later, Leigh.

Hi all,
On the Fri night, we have made a group booking for dinner at the Rye Hotel @ 7:45pm. There were 2 sittings available, one at 6:00pm, which we thought may have been a tad early especially for people coming down after work, and the 7:45. Address is 2415 Point Nepean Road, Rye, in the main shopping centre, right on the corner of Dundas St.
On the Sat night, it's home at our place commencing around 5:30 - 6:00pm. We should have enough chairs, however it wouldn't hurt to throw a couple in "just in case". Please byo all you need. Address is around the corner (about 3 klms) from the Rye pub, at 271 Dundas St.
Looking forward to putting some faces to the names.
Max & Jan (Winterwood)

Drive in has a late session, starts at 10.00pm.
Don't have a program for that night yet, will let you all know when I find out.
cheers, Leigh.

Hi Everyone, Hope everyone made it home safely. It was a great weekend, with nice weather, and fabulous company. Our gracious hosts Mr & Mrs Winterwood, [Max & Jan] provided us with the most beautiful setting for our bbq, and a big thank you goes out to them for their generosity. All that went had a very enjoyable night. Sportsman1 unfortunately had a bit of trouble with the car, and was unable to drive it home, [total care to the rescue!!] but hopefully, it will be up and running soon. On the good news side, Robyn and Ian, who lost their VV in the fires, purchased a new VV, and brought it along after collecting it on their way. And, here are some pics of the vans, the bbq, and the morning tea gathering on Sunday morning. Impala

Thanks to Impala for organising the weekend and a big thanks to Winterwoods for the use of their fantastic home for the bbq on Saturday night. Enjoy your cruise.
Thanks also to all those who made the effort to attend. The weekend would have been terrible if we had not had all those terrific people to spend time with.
Hope all goes well for Alien in his quest for another fibreglass toy.
Cant wait to get together with you all again,
photos to follow.
cheers, Leigh & Karon.

wow This was the first time I made an appearance at one of these events. Mind you I did not have far to travel. Unfortunately for me we did not get into town till after dark on Saturday and figured that everyone went to the drive in.. So Sunday, swmbo and I wondered down the dirt track and came across one of the happiest, friendliest groups of people we have encountered for a real long time. All gathered around in a little circle that kept growing bigga and bigga, while we stood there endeavoring to do introductions. We chatted to Mr & Mrs Impala about the weekends activities and felt saddened that we had missed out on the fun... And chat about possible upcoming stuff mental note buy antique cloth to drape over caravan to make it look vintage... ....... We had a little look around those that were parked. For sum strange reason did not take very many pictures. totally outa character. But I blame the following for this...... think I am in love...................... how the hell do I get one of these past swmbo? The mob in my caravan club were quiet excited about them old cars and caravans in the park next door. Mind you some of those that were excited were seriously older then the VVs... ;D to mister and misses impala.... we done....

Great to see the pics of the Blairgowrie - it was obviously a great time for all. Its fantastic to see some more Victorian get togethers happening.
Well done to those involved in organising this one, in particular Impala and the Winterwoods.
