Hi have read a few posts re people having trouble getting retro lino. A possible fix to this problem may be digitally printing old retro designs as Floor Graphics. You will see Floor graphics on shopping centre floors etc. this you can get done with any printing company with digital printing. best one's to contact would be Screen Printers or sign shops. I don't know what the copywrite laws are reguarding copying old lino, but I don't think it would be that hard for some one with artistic skills to come up with some original retro looking designs. I have contacts in the screen printing industry if anyone is interested. the cost is around $100 Square metre. as far as I know this has never been tried before. but concidering the amount of traffic on shop floors I think it would work well.

Try looking at Marmoleum, it's the 'new' name for lino. Some of the patterns are really retro, and gorgeous in my opinion. Have a look at the designs on the web. More expensive than vinyl but lino is made from natural materials such as desiccated cork etc
