Hi we have just recently purchased a 48 Bedford bus and we had a few leaks which we hope are now fixed. Unfortunately there is a bit of a smell near the water tank and was wondering if anyone has some knowledge how to get rid of the musty smell. We have drained the tank and open it up every day to allow fresh air but the smell still is there. Regards hotrodbus

Hi HRBus. Bicarbonate of Soda. Don`t know your tank capacity size but chuck a whole packet/box into the filled tank. Ideally if the tank can be removed even better to work on. Maybe a good half kilo of bicarb, give the tank a good swish around, let settle for awhile & repeat process. Then empty out, flush clean. Can`t think of the name but there`s a number of tablet form additives that you can then just chuck down the filler neck to keep the water clean & clear. And smell free. Oh, and welcome to the forum. Look forward to some happy snaps of you hor rod bus. cheers
