It's fast approaching, Christmas and then what to do for the remainder of the holidays?
We have a solution.............
Come away in your vintage caravan with us and our kids even if you don't have any. Grand children, nieces and nephews accepted.
We are booked into Coogee Beach Caravan Park from 14/01/2009 - 18/01/2009. The cost per night is 36.00, when booking the caravan park requires 50% deposit, you can book yourself - the caravan park no is 08 9418 1810 or contact Raina on 0409375335 or Joanne on 0401167851. There are 10 sites left for that time slot.
The caravan park backs on to the beach (great for swimming or fishing) we hope to have a fancy dress night and lots of fun activities for the kids. We will keep you updated. Any suggestions are welcome.
Be there or be square!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warm regards Joanne and Raina
PS. Raina, Stone and Michael Fogg had a fantastic time at Denmark and Albany. Stone and Michael are ready for the next Vintage Van Venture

Hi Jojo,
To save confusion, I am assuming you mean Coogee Beach C/Park in WA, south of Perth, not the beachside suburb in Sydney.

paging all WA members with kids (and without kids ;D) .......this V V event that Jo & Raina have put together will be one not to be missed .......the inaugral JR annual fun run Summer school hols ......what a great idea this run is to spend time entertaining the kids, errrr ......they'll probably entertain themselves whilst M & D kick back & take in the fresh air that Coogee CV park has to offer So, what about a response to this thread please .....register your intention to attend this run with the tin lids asap, coz xmas & January come 'round fast Will n Lyn ......this is the run Raina was referring to in discussions at Albany ......buts its going to be Coogee instead of Moore River / Lancelin ......karoke one night would be great if poss...just have to sus out where? cheers Mark

Jojo n Ruby................. ditzy will try her hardest but unfortunately the working life has priority............so here's to trying my best.
On another note.......... I support Mark in that it would be nice to see more WA people support this run.......... we seem to be locked into small groups and routine runs.......... even though it may not be your cup of tea........ how about a bit off support for others and then the support comes back to you.
Will shut up now

Not sure that we can commit to this one as we would have already been up to the big smoke 4 times between now and then and have a commitment already for the 18th. Sorry. Bradngem

To everyone who was there, what a fantastic place Coogee was, and what a great time we had. 6 families ended up coming. A excellent finish to the run was thanks to Will and Lynn and the fabulous Big Band Karoke Show. "Mark!! It's time for someone else to have a go....stop hogging the mike" Some people just don't know when to stop !!! Same place, Same time next year.......January 2010 Monday 11th - Sunday 17th January. This will incorporate the 3th Saturday of the month for the caravan social club sausage sizzle. Hope to catch up with some of you at Trevor Roberts Memorial Run....We will have no kids this time!!! LOOKOUT

yep .....the Coogee run was a blast .....thanks heaps to jojo and rubyrose for arranging .....and didn't 'the kids' have a ball .....the look of three of the so called 'kids' ..climbing out of a chalet on Sat morning with massive hangovers, reminded me of myself in the 70's ;D ;D ......and the performance of Will & Lyn on the Sat night was up to their usual standard ......a great show ....you should hear Lyn's rendition of Celine Dion's song " this is serious" .....awesome and after a woeful singing performance by yours truly...... I have officially hung up the microphone, and given away singing forever ....going back to what I do best .....'nothing' ;D ;D ;D no more karoke for me .........ever EVER !!
