I installed the "Alko" Torsion bar suspension to "Bubbles" and found it to be extraordinary in its design, ease of installation and ride comfort. After owning a number of early Porsche ( also with Torsion bar suspension ) I found this article.
Thanks Cobber as i did not realize the design was available this early !

Re the Flexitor axle: Dick Pym says in the article that he made his first caravan with this system (1951). Around this time he took over Jennison's Pathfinder business following John Jennison's death. Looks like another Pathfinder innovation! Maybe DonR could move this to the Jennison/DHL area or link it.
