Hi Guys, Wasn't sure where to post this, as the van isn't officially for sale, but i thought it was worthwhile posting in case anyone would like to rescue it. Im sure all it would take is a tap on the door for it to be yours. I saw it last time i was in Melbourne, so on my most recent trip, grabbed the camera and went for a drive! No one was home, but i get the imnpression that the owners and the neighbours would probably be happy to see it go. Im guessing its an early 60's Roma. Naturally, the front, roof, and rear of the van seem sound as its made from that fantastic material called aluminium. The tree bits looks like they would need some immediate attention. I've debated about grabbing this old beauty myself but have deemed my carpentry not good enough to take on such a challenge. I would love to see this van picked up by one of the VV crew and lovingly bought back to life. Cheers J-Rod

Hey Reddo!
Yeah, when i showed the pics to my old man, he knew exactly where it was to my surprise.. and said it had been there for years.. Im tipping nearly as many years as me..!
Shame to see it out in the weather for so long.
Ciao, J
