G'day Donna,
Welcome to the forum.
If you go to the “Down History Lane” forum and click on the “caravan and topic index” at the top of that page you will find a listing for “Viscount”.
Your 'van looks similar to the 1967 one shown there, have a look and see what you think.
If your 'van is a 12 footer.... most 'vans of that vintage weighed about one cwt. Per foot, i.e. a 12' 'van weighed in at about 12 cwt. Hope this helps.
Cobber.

Hi Donna, Sadly I recently dismantled a 1963-1964 Viscount. Many of the features on your van appear vary similar to it, it was the same as the van in the article titled "The luxurious new 1963 Viscount " in the 12th post down on the page: vintagecaravans.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=2038There are also some pics of the van I had above and below that article........the van I had was 14'6" X 7" it had a chassis number on the inside of the aframe. Sadly, about 75% of the frame and ply lining where rotten, as where part of the cupboard, floor....etc. I have retained a lot of parts to aid in restoring my 1959-1960ish Ambassador. If there are any smaller parts you need send me a PM and I will see if I can help (I only say smaller, because I live in souther Victoria). I would be interested to see any interior shots you may have. Cheers, hope that helps Gristy

For those that wish to see everything in one spot, here are the photo's from the above links Donna, when you post the next pics, right click copy the text next to "IMG code" in photobucket under the pic in your album and paste it into your message when you post. Start a new line for each IMG code, that way the pics will appear under each other.(There's 4 choices, Email & IM, direct link, HTML code and IMG code) rather than copying the browser address at the top. That way we can all see the pics of your nice little find in one spot here rather than opening lots of windows.. If you want to check it all works first, then preview before you post. If you need help, msg me.. ;D Cheers Chris
