G'day Boblor,
Thanks for letting us know about the article on your caravan in Caravan & Motorhome. A nice bit of publicity for the work you are doing with the Olympic register and for vintage vanning generally.
I would have liked to have seen a full external shot of the van, but who's complaining - it's fantastic that the caravan mags are including some articles on V V's on a fairly regular basis now.
Well done to you both.
Don Ricardo

Hi Don The story was put together in our garage so not the easiest place to take a good external photo. Our aim was to get a feature and in particular the history we have been able to put together over the last 7 to 8 years. Anyway what are you doing looking at the van ,what about us ??. We hope you all enjoy the article and we can encourage the magazines to continue to featuring our vintage / classic vans as often as possible. Maybe we can encourage a classic section to be included in each months publication, as we have plenty of vans restored across Aust. to have a different marque featured each time. Cheers boblor

Hi Tonyh & V Vers Thanks Tony for adding the photos to the site for all to see. These were taken at the Gold Coast City Councils Heritage Expo day promotion period. The TV cameraman is from channel 9 'Extra' program and the couple in the last shot are Graham & Margie Duff who the proud owners of a vintage Olympic a 1950's alum. clad unit, and we are looking forward to seeing it on an outing soon. So those of you who were keen to see some external shots, it is hoped this selection will give you a good indication of the condition of our 'Contessa', -- enjoy. Cheers boblor

Managed to get hold of issue 117 today, it wasn't easy because it was sold out at three news agents I went to. A good article Bob, and a few other bits and pieces of interest to we V V people in the magazine also.
Cobber.

Hi V Vers Now you can see how broard our knowledge is , we not only know about fabuglass vans, but how to sell out the magazine in a couple of weeks. I have invited the magazine to the 50th anniversary for the Sunliner gathering at Forster NSW on 4th October '08, and hopefully another report on V Vers. Cheers boblor
