Hey all of you get a gander at what Mark and I found in "Upper Swan" on Sat. ( approx 30 km north of perth) Thought all the Carapark Lovas would be interested.
The Aluminium body is still sound but the inside has rotted away as well as been used for a dumping ground. Also I am sure something or other has lived or is living there. Just check out the vegetable type thing living on it. My daughter has something similar under her bed.
I must add that these pics were obtained at great risk to both of our safety. There is something about wading around in knee high grass in October that gets the blood pumping. I told Mark that if I felt anything move around my feet that he would be carrying me to the car.
Thats not a wreck, thats a restoration prospect! The interior is easily replaced and as they have an all steel frame, and all the interior is pop rivetteted on, SO GET IT AND GET INTO IT! cheers Greggy
l found a Carapark Hunter junior, last week in the middle of a duck pen but it was very much worse for wear as it was totally gutted and had no floor. Ther must be more of them around but they seem quite rare, is this the case or not? l'm spurred on by you all to find one!
