Hi V Vers. Its been a while but I went to Gosford to pick up this little beauty. It was last registered in 1969 and has been sitting in a shed since then. Outside needs stripping and repainting but inside is nearly as good as it came off the factory floor , except for a couple of additions. Unloading the van at home, it was a bit of a rush to get it loaded as it was stored on the side of a hill and I had to park across the road to load it. As you can see inside is in very good condition, it still has the original bed matresses and the matress for the third bed. It does have a couple of added extras like a power board at the rear of the van and 240 v lighting. Cheers. Trodler.

Hey Trodler What a win The interior looks in excellent condition... Is there much to do on the exterior to bring it up to scratch? Just shows how long a van can last if cared for properly. You'll be on the road with this one in no time Congrats and happy motoring Atog

Hey Trodler, even with those minor mods you'd have to go a long way to find such an original example. would also look great behind an unrestored towcar of the same vintage Cheers Kingy

Trodler... my young friend, You mean to tell me you passed up on a steam rally and all the “leads” I got from it just so you could go and get another Propert.... all-be-it in very nice original condition . It's good to know they are still out there, just waiting to be noticed. Cobber.

VERY nice pickup Trodler. Did an annexe come with the van? Notice the clips are there. Always find it interesting that Mr Propert never could improve on that folding mechanism - goes to show - if it ain't broke why fix it, cos it really works so well. A real wonder some builder hasn'r picked this up yet and started manufacturing these vans in that other stuff! Surely the patent would have expired now. Seeing the van on the back of your ute, reminds me that I forgot to get pics of Rubiks Kube as she was lifted up the loading dock to go onto the stage - a rather ignomious entry it was ;D Is there a stove somewhere for it too, Trodler? Look forward to the finished result. Ray
