Hi all, My partner and I have just aquired a beaut little Franklin Hunter, 1976, pretty original, well interior anyway! Bought it of a woman who had it for about 4 years and was using it to travel to dog shows with her dogs in tow, previous to that, it was owned by an older couple (since new) so not too bad for a 30 something year old caravan and we are the third owners. As you can see, she has the original interior, which I think have never ever been washed, as i found out when the moment they came into contact with water, the color ran, clear water to brown in 2.8 seconds!!! Have spent the afternoon disasembling the van, only two little patches of water damage, that are visible anyway, am optimistic that there are no more If anyone has any helpful hints when it comes to these, pls let me know! We are winging it, and are just gonna see how we go! BTW just how much would one of these go for? In original condition of course! Jason & Alicia

Hi Jason & Alicia, I believe what "Guest" meant to say was welcome, and suggest that you check out the Classic Caravans forum (follow the "Road to Classic Caravans" link at the bottom of main page on this forum). Classic caravans is dedicated to 1970s vans and you will undoubtedly find more expertise and interest and advice on your van there. "Guest" is correct in saying this site is dedicated to pre 1970s vans - must have forgot thier manners along with their name. For the record you will find a small number of people from this forum (me included) also contribute to the "Classic Caravans" forum - some of us just dont have a life ;D Cheers, Gristy PS - Hope to talk to you on the Classic Vans forum.
