Suppliers/Parts list?? What do you think

Hi Everyone,

With all the good information on this site I thought it might be a good idea to have a suppliers or parts list to make it easer for members or guests to find lights, fittings, parts, etc rather than going through past threads or asking the same questions again on where to find stuff. I have cruised through the threads and found great helpful information on where to get gear only to have difficulty finding it again. The rubbers I am having made for example, once the manufacturing process has finished if I have nothing to add, the thread will become difficult to find or new members to know it is available. What does everyone think?

If you already have some of the information to hand go for it, and then others can add to the thread along the way.

Hi Don,
I don't know if it possible but what I meant is a new permanent Forum Listing of "Suppliers/Parts List" with sub headings such as lights, window parts etc. that can have suppliers added under each heading and maybe a different color for suppliers who give discounts to VV forum members. If we just add to the current thread it may become mixed and difficult to find what you are looking for.

Hi Don,
What if you put a pin in the thread (I have noticed you have done this on some) - that would keep it at the top and everyone could add suppliers to make them and parts easy to find - what do you think?
I just think it would be a good idea - if everyone doesn't think it would be helpful or not needed, I stop pushing it and delete the thread.
