Hi daggsey,
I agree with your sentiments & thoughts on reselling vans.
I was shown (through a window) what is probably the oldest ply van I've ever seen. The guys father supposedly built it in the late 20's. Its a square box, with slightly curved top at front & rear, very small side windows, & what look to be hinged at the top wheel spats. Its about 12' long. Thats all I was allowed to see. Its not for sale.
So I wont give any hints or clues as to where it is, as I respect the owners right to do what he wants with it.
But its obvious theres still a hell of a lot of old vans out there, & a lot will be available for sale. Hopefully eventually they will end up in the hands of someone that will restore/rebuild/love them.

Hey Daggsey, that "14ft Qunitrex" as mr Reddo put it (Me thinks he should stick to picking on the fobreglasseres - at least thats funny ;D) Is that van a Valiant??? sure looks like lady Maddona's poor cousin. Maybe it's a walt disney classic in tha making "Lady and.....the tramp" Gee that went down well......... ......yeh, really funny gristy..............next you will be resorting to making comparisons to caravans and boats....... Cheers, The 14'6" tandem axle quintrex owner.

Hey Gristy,
If you take note, and I'm sure you would have, the man from Reddotel industries in his eagerness to hang *hit on us bauxite owners, didn't notice that there actually was a boat in one of the photos and it had a Mercury hanging off the back of it.
I will disclose the location of the last caravan I spotted, because it is of wooden construction, it is in the open and does need rescuing........it looked rough, but not beyond redemption.
For all you Canetoadlanders out there, it is at Warra, right on the Warrego Highway.

Hi all, This one's not for the faint-hearted ;D ;D ;D.............this isn't on Ebay.........if your looking for a post-Christmas sale in these tough economic times, Daggotel Industries has located this not-to-be-missed special in the White Goods section of the Moruya Tip...... Interesting points about this van................ Has the angled side windows Diamond patterned aluminium, but strengthening corrugations as per a 70's van. Split front windows as per a 70's Millard etc....maybe they were around in the 60's Caneite ceiling One down-side, the jockey wheel is missing ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Please don't contact me .......I am not looking for any commission on this sale........to rescue this van you can deal direct with the seller, Eurobodalla Shire ;D ;D ;D ;D Daggsey P.S. You'd probably need to know a glazier ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
