Greetings All
Thought I'd put this one out there for all you glass enthusiasts.
Does anyone out there have or know of any large Olympics or even other fibreglass vans?
I know of one in Newcastle only.
But does anyone out there have a 19'....21'... or larger?
If you do please post photos of it for us glassies to drool over.
Skip this next bit if you get bored with personal history
A little bit of Personal History:
Back in the early 70's my parents ordered a 21' Olympic from the factory in Brisbane so they and I could travel Australia...
Well things did go as planned and I ended up in a boarding school for a year (one of the worst years of my life) and they travelled without me.....
Seems I was too interested in having a good time than doing all the correspondence work assigned... typical 13 year old... ;D ;D
The van had a front bedroom which I used..... now the van has probably long gone..... but .... that is the reason I started looking for vans and then found this marvelous group of V Vanners
... the hunt for my own personal "Moby Dick" was on...
Reddo I know you want to say... something but please resist
That is one of the reasons why I bought a 16 footer..... if you can't have the best then second best will have to do.
It also has given me the chance to hone my skills at doing up a van.
Just in case I ever do get a 21 footer or even "Moby Dick" ;D
So How about it are there any larger Olympics out there?
What about any large fibreglass vans?
Looking forward to your posts
