G'day Dennis.......I agree with all of what you say. I have seen first hand the huge interest/ enjoyment/appreciation that your truck generates wherever/whenever it is seen/displayed .From Ballina car show , to Wintersun, to on v v tours etc.It has been , and still is , a standout vehicle in the Aust rodding scene. It is one very unique rod/kustom......built by Dennis Watts.....for Dennis Watts....for Dennis Watts to use and enjoy.....as he does! ;D ;D ;D This maybe part of the reason why the car hasn't sold.........it's just too "out there " for most people......the tight driving position/ lack of windows/possible rego difficulties in other states, could be other reasons. I also agree with Col, ...that completed cars with shiney paint jobs, can potentially hide a myriad of nasties, especially in the panel/rust department. >: Whichever way you look at it,.......building a rod from scratch, completing someone elses project, or buying a finished car,is going to take a bucket load of dollars these days.!......but as you say, buying a completed car ,is probably the most cost effective way of doing it! That's why I'll stick with my Australiana cars(EH's) .....for a while..........poor man's hot rod!!!! Cheers, Sutcac.

You guys all have really nice eer wicked machines Sadly there are a lot of tyre kickers out there that can only look on and drool (myself included) But with the standard of effort that has obviously been put into your cars all I can say is keep the faith!! There may be a limited number of those that can afford to do such work and buy such esteemed iron but the alternative is to let them rot away back into the ground A sad day any classic/vintage cars are let go. Those of us than can only afford a cleaned up one tonne Ute still appreciate the finer things in life. Regards atouchofglass

Hi Dennis! Just my two bob's worth about your truck. I remember seeing it at Wintersun for the first time in '99, and thinking what a wild machine it was! ! Each time thereafter it kept getting wilder!! I particularly remember my ride through Ulladulla, at a great rate of knots-it certainly put a smile on my face ;D ;D ;D ;D, not to mention everybody else that we passed as we motored through town. Then when we were camped next to you at Coledale, I was lounging in my banana lounge, reading my book, and overhearing all of the favourable comments being made about your machine-mainly WOW! Fully SICK! (from kids), 18-25 yo males had to have their photo taken with it-with one foot up on the running board, the older guys looked on with envy, and even old ladies had to go up and have a closer look at it. Anyone who buys it can look forward to having as much fun as you have had. Sugarshack PS. Keep on truckin' Dennis!
