Identification of 30 ft Wayfarer from 1960s

Howdy folks,

A friend of mine is trying to identify the model, history and specs for his mother's Wayfarer that she's had since the 60s. He believes she acquired it in South Australia.

Here are some exterior and interior shots.

Much of the interior has been gutted but he believes the remaining cabinetry is original.

Hi itsbeneff,
Your friends van is a Majestic built in Melbourne in 1976-77 then rebadged as a Wayfarer,its wooden frame and a copy of the hip roof vans that were built in that era.Be aware that some ( not all) had a chipboard floor painted black underneath,which if not looked after could cause huge problems later on.
Majestic weren’t around for long due to the petrol crisis of the seventies and were also sold as Maroondah caravans.

Hi Itsbeneff,

Welcome to the Forum.

Hughdeany has been able to identify your caravan for you, but I thought I'd just give you a tip regarding posting your photos.

If you look at the Format menu bar in the 'Create Post' window, towards the end you'll see a little button with a picture of a landscape in it. If you press that it will come up with a dialogue box saying 'Insert Image'. In the bar saying 'Image URL' just paste your photo link. You will then end up with a line in your post commencing with '[img src=https:' followed by your photo link.  When you create your post you'll end up with a photo like this:
