Hi all, I'm new to the Vintage Caravans Forum. I just need some advice on the price range for a Sunliner caravan. My father-in-law had a prized 1947 Dodge Fargo ute and behind it he towed the Sunliner caravan. He has past away and his ute was sold a few years ago. The Sunliner has been stored at my sister-in-laws place, undercover. The sister in law wants it gone. It needs work and is in what I would call reasonable condition. I am not sure what the going price for such an item would be. I have seen some on gumtree or marketplace for around $25,000 but they look in mint condition. I have considered doing it up myself but I have just finished doing up a 1997 Cole Camper and that is taking up most of my driveway as I live on a small block. Any help would on what a Sunliner like this would be worth be appreciated. Jo

Hi all,
well........ the wicked sister-in-law has left for a caravan trip to Karijini in their beautiful new hybrid caravan.
The old Sunliner is safe undercover for a few more weeks while they're away.
Still trying to get a rough guide on what it might be worth for my lovely mother-in-law (see not all stereotypes are true) before the wicked sister-in-law tosses it out.
Not looking for a buyer ......at the moment.........just any ideas on what it might be worth on the market.

Hi Jost, we don't do valuations on here as there are just too many variables with opinions, condition, etc. I will add that Sunliners are very desirable vans & your best bet is to research sold listings. Vans that are listed with very high prices often don't sell but I will say yours is too good to give away. You could always auction it on FeeBay or alternatively list on Gumtree at what you would be happy to get for it & allow offers. There is also a group on Facebook called 'Vintage Sunliner Caravans Australia' Or you could keep it & join the ever growing fraternity of vintage vanners & meet a whole new world of friends Cheers, SGTL
