Hi guys here are some photos of my new tow car.Its a 1961 or 1962 International Harvester Scout 80.Its one of the first ones delivered to Australia and was marketed in Australia as hard working all purpose vehicle. It originally came with a 152 4 cylinder but someone has put in a Ford 250 6 cylinder. The previous owner used it to tow a17ft boat. Its unregistered and will need an engineers certificate and blueslip. A spare ute never goes a stray with my lifestyle and a convertible 4 wd tow car will let me explore a few more out of the way boat ramps and a bit more of Australia. It was last regoed in 1998 and wasnt driven since.Got the motor running and need to put in a carbie kit as petrol was pissing out .If anyone knows of or spots one in their travels send us a pm as i might need a few bits and pieces. They also came with a small roof that just bolts on to make it a ute or a longer one that turns it into a wagon.Im not to worried about it looking like a show car as that stuff never worries me i just want to use it, thrash it ,park it anywhere the same as every thing i own.Cheers Dave
