Good morning all, Well i have been working day and night trying to get the paint on the T'bird so we can get it back together and the shed cleared for the sunliner project. Yesterday i started painting the roof (using 2-pac) i put on a light coat then a heavier coat and went and had a coffee, i returned 10 minutes later to put the final coat on and found a WHOPPING BIG BIRD POO, smack bang in the middle of the roof. not only did it cost me another day(had to wait over night before i could rub it and try again) but it also cost me about a litre of paint... The big question is HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE SWALLOWS There are about 10 or so in the shed and there is always crap everywhere... I tried smoking them out once but only succeeded in nearly burning the shed down, If i shoot them I'm most likely end out with extra ventilation in the roof. If i get a snake I'll be paranoid and walking round back wards looking for it...... Our cats too lazy to even get of the lounge..... Thanks for listening.....it seems as though i have it all off my chest now....but any ideas you guys might have would be greatly apreciated.... Thanks Jason

get a Hawk and put long leash on it so it can reach the garage extremities, then when the Swallows are gone, release the hawk. Greg

Hi Jason, we had trouble with swallows nesting on the underside of our balcony. Barb got 10 or a dozen dvd discs and hung them at different heights from the roof. They move and spin in the breeze and seem to do the trick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked her to hang some on me ......... but she said I was already well hung !!! !!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If we get our Sunliner resto finished in time we;d like to go for a run up tp Burrum Heads for a few days.............. if so we'll call in and say g'day!! ---- before the middle of December , that is. Cheers, Clyde and Barb.

Clyde and Barb if you guys come to Burrum you drive almost right past our house...let me know and i'll put the jug....or a few on ice... Jason
