Hi guys, I have Franklin arrow that I want to change the 12 volt interior light to leds to run off deep cycle battery and use the current switches for the lights. Any clues how to wire it up to the battery and do you need resisters to reduce the current to the leds. Any help would be amazing. Thanks Nic.

Any clues how to wire it up to the battery and do you need resisters to reduce the current to the leds. Any help would be amazing. Thanks Nic. I am not an expert in electrics but the simplest solution would be to replace the existing 12v bulbs with led bulbs. If I assume correctly the existing 12 v bulbs would most likely be bayonet type. Jaycar, or eBay, can supply replacements. As to your deep cycle batteries. If you have an existing 12v battery then the simplest approach would be just to swap the 12v car battery with the 12 deep cycle. However. Your charging systems may need to be changed. This also gives you an opportunity to introduce solar to you charging system as well. My recommendation would be to Google caravan electrical systems, or caravan solar systems. I am sure that others with more experience and expertise can assist.

Simply replace what you have eg, bayonets with an LED equivalent, no resistors needed. You will turn night into day. As above reply heaps of sellers on ebay. Buy Collyn Rivers books on caravans , UVs etc Click on this link
