How to wire up this vintage Campbell Tail Lamp?

Hi there,

I bought this 1950s NOS Campbell Tail Lamp from a guy in West Richmond. (This is just the beginning of my Lightburn Trailer 'full-resto' project!)



But I need some advice on how the wiring is attached to this terminal on the plug shown here:

12v power wire from the switch goes through the bottom cover and then terminates at the brass connector. The lamp is earthed through the mounting stud.

Need a multimeter to test the bulb for continuity. It hasn't been used since it was brand new.
