Hi. We have a Roadhaven caravan 13ft build no. 198. We are unsure if it is a pre-1970 van. It is in fairly good condition considering its age and has only had two owners. Can anyone let me know around what price it could sell for?

Hi jj, you have possibly the last van made by Herbert Pruser, they were numbered to 202 but only 198 were actually made according to his son Ray. Herbert died in 1970 and the last couple of vans were finished by his employees, so yes your van would be a 1970 vintage .A van is so hard to value, its worth what someone is prepared to pay, maybe some photos would help.Roadhavens were regarded as the ''Rolls Royce '' of caravans being one of the best of their era, so it would be a sort after van. Cheers Dave.

Hi JJ Thanks for you contact. This site however specifically excludes the fiery subject of talking prices. As the previous poster said, it's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it, which is why we no longer talk about it here.

Thank you for your comments. Sorry I wasn’t sure where to pose my question and didn’t realise I couldn’t discuss price. I will try and work out how to put some photos up.
