Hi I have recently purchased this bondwood caravan it is 12 ft long and 6ft 7 wide I have been all though it and can find no indentifing marks. It has a chassis no of 529. It has a drop axle mechanical brakes and dymwood override hitch. I have read through a lot of information on this site and to me it looks like a wayfarer. I have had it weighed and it dry weight is 720 kilo. The van was purchased from Bendigo Victoria and had been in the same family since 1972. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please go easy on me it is my first time on a forum. I am also a glutton for punishment and have previously restored a 1963 bondwood speedboat.I can provide more photos and information as I work this forum thing out. thanks in advance Brad

Thanks Mustang yes it’s in prey good nick shame I didn’t have the original Lino under the carpet and I’m trying to keep it as a rolling restoration as I want to use it the plan is to sort out new 240 v and 12 volt and enjoy it. I pressure cleaned all the chassis and found no real issues. I’m restoring all the windows at the moment and lucky I removed then as it was the only way I could get the old fridge out as it would not fit through the door. I’m hoping someone out there can help identify this van and please let us know if there is anything else I can provide to try and help identify it.
Thanks Brad
