Hi Kaybees, Long winded noth'in, i followed the rodding scene for what must have been twenty years, bought every publication available over that time (hence remembering the name Eames well) and never actually owned a rod . So now not only do i now get a buzz out of vintage vans, but an old interest is rekindled as well, so i'm pretty happy with that ;D Cheers Kingy

Hi Kaybees, Love the progress shots, (just had to change me t-shirt--- dribbled all down the front of the other ;D) the attention to detail is great. The coupes sure make for a top looker compared to the sedans, and as Will said it'll be great to see it at Coledale. (STILL got a soft spot for ya WORK truck ) Kingy

Dear Santa,
For Christmas this year, could you please bring me a cream 1936 Ford coupe.
I have been a very good boy all year! And I promise to always check my vans wheel bearings whenever I tow on a trip !! I will never ever make fun of Barb again, at her expense. I will also try to learn how to use fotobucket so I haven't got to rely on members to post my pics for me.
If you happen to get a request from Steve Kingy for a 36 Coupe or your work pickup, don't give him nothin!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's been a very naughty boy all year !!!
On Reddo's Spring Tour run he and his 186 powered EH overtook other red motor powered tow vehicles on long uphills just to p*#ss them off!!!!!!!!! Also ,while we would find a nice cafe to have a fresh healthy salad sandwich and fruitjuice for lunch, he and his missus would seekout the best pub with the best counter lunch and coldest draught beer. Not just once , but several times !!!!!!!!!!!!
He's also being greedy when it comes to van ownership. He's already got a perfectly good van , but he's just gotta have another one!!!!!!
So ya see Santa, I need the coupe to have some ,,,,,,,,,Fun ,fun, fun, cause a "daddy 's took my T Bird Awaaaaayyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaybees, Talking about scale, I reckon that old 36er of yours would look good in front of my old 36er...all it needs is an exchange of dollars to clinch the deal. Trouble is....I don't think either of us want to sell, eh? But you can always lend. ;D ;D ;D ;D Cobber.

Twas a very nice Original car( 50 000 mls) RHD from new...........one owner .........312 y block ....3 speed Fordomatic..... rechromed bars........... fresh paint...... both tops ...etc.. etc.
Agree with you... looked ordinary in front of the Sunliner
Have a bit of loot burning a hole in my pocket ATM. If you come across anything extra special for sale, down your way, give us a hoy.
Just drove down to the Gold Coast to look at 1967 Ford Galaxy Convertible........289...C4..........heapa shite!!!!!!!!!!.......they look good in the ads....but ya just gotta checkem out hey??
Also keen on an EJ P Van on E Bay .......in Sydney....injected 308... Supra 5 Speed.... 3/4 chassis...9 inch ETC
As you can see , it aint gotta be brand or type specific for me. .Just into buying a vehicle to enjoy for a while , then move on and experience something else.
Can't wait to see the Ford at Coledale next year....... absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!

Hello Sutcac
The ej panel van is about 5 minutes from me. if you want i can go over and have a look at it and give it a bit of a run for you. Let me know and i can do it tonight or tomorrow morning.
What about the title - (Type of Title: Finance Owing / Encumbered ) - I suggest he probably didn't click this out given that he has owned it for 15 years!!!!!!!!

Well ya's are to late Reddo and ya back ta front cactus, me mates Col & Kris have allready done me a deal. Col says as soon as the coupe is finished one of their toys has to go. So we headed south to Melb looked over the 48' agreed on a price and left a deposit. The problem we have now is what colour to paint our green van to match the 48', or if the new bondy is finished in time we can match it to the pick- up. Anyone interested in a EH holden , 186 manual, grey in colour (goes really well uphills, just ask the ex teacher amongst us that tells storys about people to santa;D) We need to sell the EH to finance the It was about at this point i rolled over and hit my head on the bedside table and woke up - BUGGER i was having another one of them dreams again ;D ;D ;D Now for the van content- The TD's coming along well Reddo, the lantern roof really sets it off and have you settled for those gaurds, they look fine from here. As for my shed space Reddo, it was built to house my truck, excavator, ute etc. but it's slowly being taken over by bondys which of coarse have priority and i still have room for a couple more. Cheers Kingy

Planning to leave here Boxing day, get to Warburton/Mt Evelyn Thursday or Friday at the latest and perhaps stay another day or 2 to catch up with friends. WOuld be nice to see that spotless workshop too Might learn something from it for my shed. Dontja just hate tidy people By the way - what are the updated predictions on the fires down there? Hi, It has been hid-e-ous here in gippsland over the past 3 weeks. I am pleased to say I can hear plenty of water runnin' down the drain pipe, just hope it's dropping on the fire. Unfortunately the local CFA guys reckon they need 200mm (8inches) of rain in a day to put it out! They reckon more likely it will burn until next winter's rain fixes it. Worst thing is (down here at least) 11 houses, 50 odd sheds and one life were lost all in one afternoon -all due to a fire that was deliberately lit. I'm trying to come up with a fire plan to protect my 'new aquisition' - it is half wood.... Cheers, Tinnie VV.......VV........VV......VintageCaravans
