Hi Col What a pleasant change from the ho hum holdens and fords. A marraige made in heaven i say. The sort of rig you might have seen some merchant plying the streets of london in back in the 50s. Hows about a J van with the back cut away like a teardrop. Bed in behind the seats and sloping rear boot containing kitchen etc....Hmmmm food for thought . Somehow can't see myself adapting to 40mph flat out J van muscle. Again i'll say" pleased to see you scored the teardrop" Reddo.

My Bro is heavily into MGs. The local MG Club has a J van as a promo vehicle. From what i can make out they have trouble finding someone willing to drive it. Would be quicker to catch public transport Hmmmmmm i wander if the car club would object to slotting a leyland 4.4 alloy V8 behind the seats. Cant see a problem.... Hi Col and Chris how ya both doin hope to catch you both on REDDOS east coast spectacular I have a 53 chevy with a standard chassis drum brakes blue flame 21000 miles since recon for the motor three on the tree drives like a 53 chev know wot I mean a bloke advertised a 54 chevy very average body rust in doors boot etc HQ grafted front end 96 falcon running gear disc brakes auto diff etc chassis all completed every thing recon probably $5000.00 thereabouts I want to put a 350 chev in my chevy auto and can get a recon of my mate for $2000 all I want is a better driving car I know you would use Jag but as you know I am a poor man (because of Lyns shopping habits Ahemmmmm) what would a Col conversion cost (billbay@iinet.net.au)and would it be worth buying the Hq conversion because I could put my 53 chassis under the 54 and flog it for at least 3 to 4 thousand Thanks Will
