Hi All. I have just picked up the shell of a camper to use as the base for a mini caravan. I had thought it was a home made trailer but I spotted this label under a layer of paint. Does anyone have any information about Atlas Campers? The camper was registered as home made until 2007, so it must have lost it’s true identity long before then. any suggestions would be appreciated. regards Judith Atlas camper

Hi OP and welcome. I gather the Roma caravan in Flickr pic are not related to your question. Can you still put up a pic of the whole shell? It might jog some people's memory.

Thanks Roehm3108. Sorry for the tardy response - as a newbie I didn’t get notification of your reply. No the ROMA on Flickr is not the van in question. We were looking for a worthy home for the ROMA and decided she is going to stay with us. Further investigation on the camper chassis seems to indicate the decal has been “borrowed” from Atlas Copco but I have yet to follow up this lead. The upside is that I can create my own brand for registration purposes which sounds like fun. PS Is 3108 your postcode by any chance? Ours is 3106

This proboard doesn't do reply notifications. You need to check in occasionally. 3108 is my birthday!. From memory Atlas Copco used to make trailer mounted compressors.
