Good morning everyone and Glenn,
I have spoken to Carol this morning regards the possibility of our annual Christmas in July taking place. She can see no reason why it can`t go ahead now that restrictions are being relaxed from the 1st of June bearing in mind it could all go pear shaped if numbers start going up. We have already 9 sites pre booked from last year. We will be on number 10 Doweling from Thursday 2nd till Monday the 6th Best regards Pam, John and Lowanna.

The Koalas are looking forward to coming out of virus hibernation so have booked for Murrurundi. Looking forward to getting some value out of the little diesel heater which I have fitted into the Wayfarer for just this sort of gathering. Ken & Judy (Koala)

Hi All We are newbies to this forum and the world of vintage caravaning. We would have loved to come and join you all for this but the next stage of our QLD travel restrictions won't be lifted until the week after your get together. Such as shame, we'll have to wait until next year for this one! Cheers Steve & Liz

Are you really getting THAT old Mr and Mrs Koala??? Next you'll be installing remote controlled leg jacks and aircon!!

Not so old as some Ray but I do like to be warm. $160 is a small price to be warm and makes winter camping more attractive. Air Con is not in the plan but I do have a set of period remote hydraulic stabiliser legs to fit at some stage. Koala

Good morning beautiful people, only 2 more sleeps before we gather for the annual get together. We have entertainment booked, we have a little marqee and a big tarp to make the camp kitchen bigger for us to spread out. We will have the usual big pot of curried snags and some chook soup on the stove. All we need now is the vans full of happy smiling faces to arrive. Drive safely. JD.

Thanks everyone who came this year, hope all had a good time and enjoyed the entertainment. Our ever cheerfull and helpfull host Carol lost her battle with illness last Friday and has been laid to rest. Doug and their two sons are having a get together this Saturday the 18th 10am at the caravan park. We are welcome to attend and if any bring a van along site fees will be waivered for the day. Tea, coffee and food will be provided.Pam and I will be there.
Many thanks JD.
