Hi All As many of the longer-term members would know, I have always had a love for lantern-roof caravans. I'm the only person so far who has managed to find an original Glen lantern-roof in original condition but have not been able to convince the owners to part with it. The only other van that I know comes close to the Glen is the Flynn caravan. Of particular interest to me has always been the "space-age" look of the little Flynn Cabincar at the top of this page: vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/2055?page=1Yet after waiting patiently for over 14 years on this site, no Cabincar has been found, or if it was found, remains a closely kept secret. So, at the moment, I am giving a "shout out" to anybody who may have more information relating to plans, perspective drawings or any information they have have in their treasure chest for the Cabincar. I'm crossing my fingers that Nigel Flynn may still be lurking around this site occasionally, or perhaps someone has an email address they could share with me (with Nigel's permission of course). I would love to have more information about this van and know if any were ever built. Yes, I am thinking of another project for myself, building a replica as close as possible to the Cabincar concept. But much would depend on how much information I can glean, and even whether I can find a lock-up shed in which I can build it. I suspect that starting another project in my carport might get me in trouble. Cheers Ray
