Please help identify the year of our Wayfarer

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I was wondering if someone could help identify the year of our van. Rego papers say 1961 but we are thinking it could be later 60’s.
I’ll post some photos to assist.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bede82,
I remember that van when it was for sale recently up country,it’s about a 1966 model.
Very interesting design with the shower!
The guy that did it up did a good job on it from what I could see at the time.

Thanks for your response. Do you remember where it was located when it was for sale? We got it off a lady in Sydney, prior to that it was in Forster & then Newcastle before that.
All I have done since I got it is given it a good polish.

Yes,it was sold from a farm near Bright,Vic a couple of years ago by a fellow that does up old vans and sells them from his front paddock.
He still has vans for sale occasionally on eBay.
When I was a kid there was a 23 ft version not far from my home in the same colours as yours and I used to drool at it whilst walking past on my way to school!
Bit sad really!😳

Yeah we love it. Finding it hard to get info on it as we’ve only really found one similar van....same shape but a smaller 12ft version.
