I have purchased a little coronet van, stupid me sight unseen other than photos. It is on it's way home from vic. The tow driver called me to say it's not in good condition. Major concern was he said the back wall is very soft and moves in about 4 inches. Does anyone know the year of manufacture and I was led to believe that it was an aluminum frame but appears to be timber. Ca anyone shed some light on this cute van given the back wall should I just send it to the tip

Hello & welcome. There is no such thing as an unfixable van, just depends on your skills or the depth of your wallet! It's a very risky business buying vans sight unseen, sellers will swear there is no water damage but that is often untrue. There's a bit of information about Coronet vans in here; vintagecaravans.proboards.com/thread/2082/coronet-caravans-ballarat-vic

Welcome to the forum. Now that you've done the dirty deed and bought a van sight unseen, don't go making decisions about whether to keep it until you've actually seen it. After all, you are again relying on someone else's description of the van's condition just like when you first decided to buy it.
