Hi Cheryl, Could I suggest that it is really a personal choice whether you want to remove the paint and have bare aluminium, or paint over the existing. Paint stripper will work, but can be hard work and I have found it won't affect the aluminium. There maybe others out there that have easier and less messy options. Obviously to paint over the existing, you need to see if the current paint is hanging on and what type of paint it is and whether what you are going to paint it with will be compatible. daggsey

Hi Daggesy
Thanks for that was not sure what paint stripper would do to the aluminium, thought it may react with the metal.
Tom has suggested that an easier alternative would be to paint her silver. We would have to prime her with something like 3in1 as we have no idea what the present paint is, although I must say that it looks like a professional job as the yellow stripe is very straight and clean.
Cheers Cheryl
