The King may have left the building but he will be in Parkes from 9 to 13 Jan for the legendary annual Elvis Festival. So Bert and Flo will be doing the NSW Road Trip - anyone else interested? More vintage vans would be great and there will be Elvis overload - who could possibly say no? We aren't organising anything - just being there.
Starting too to think about Bridgewater Extravaganza number 4. 15 to 17 February 2019 - any suggestions to make it better are always welcome.

I think you'll need to go to Parkes, Marcus. Or are you travelling daily?

How far is Parkes from Tamworth? I'm thinking Elvis Fest.....Tamworth Country music Fest...in one massive round trip.

Hi Marcus. Start looking into caravan park availability soon as they book out quickly. We were going this year and in October of last year when we made enquiries it was all booked out. In fact we were put onto a stand by list for any available camping that may be opened up. They were, at that stage trying to set up overflow camping areas, non powered, to cope with the volume of people wanting to attend.
It was a special anniversary year, this year, I think, which may have caused the numbers attending. Anyway, Spicers Caravan Park is a good one to try.

We stayed in the Spicers "overflow", non powered, it is a good park. Also just along the street is the football ground. There are usually plenty of non powered sights, but the stand by for power is a long list. If you liked Elvis you will love this festival.
