hi monkeygully nice looking van you got there. will is right. the brakes are independent of any of the car features. the electrical connections will spoke of would be the lights, indicators and brake lights etc. if it has 12volt power, you will also need to supply 12v from the car battery to recharge the van battery when driving. this should have an isolator in line so you can't flatten the car battery if you are "free camping" and using 12v power in the van. the level riders should have a "d" plate with them that bolts on to the drawbar. they help to stop pitching and swaying while driving. have a look at the CAMEC LOAD EQUALISER about 1/3 down the page at www.camec.com.au/ then products, then rv then car accessories. geoff 'n jude
